JACK'S OBITUARY:
Jack Allen Berry age 66 of Scottville, MI. died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington.
Jack was born on February 19, 1946 in St. Joseph, MI to the late David A. and Cora (Baldwin) Berry. His father David died in combat while serving during WWII. Cora married Verl Sanders and they raised Jack from age 4. On June 6, 1964, Jack married Margaret Ann (Cramer) Berry in Ludington, and they have celebrated 48 years together. Jack loved his family first and foremost, and also enjoyed hunting and cruising on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was employed for over 30 years as a mechanic at Urka Auto Center.
Jack will be greatly missed by his wife Margaret of Scottville, their daughter Robin (Gordy) Gesswein of Ludington, 2 Grandchildren: Danielle (John) Britton and MacKenna Gesswein both of Ludington. 2 Great Grandchildren: Cambria and Waylon Britton, his sister Valerie Sanders-Monton of Ludington, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service for Jack will be conducted on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 12:00pm at the Wyman Funeral & Cremation Services – Stephens Funeral Home in Scottville. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday morning to greet friends from 10:00am until the time of service.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Jack.
